Samruddhi Foundation is a secular and non-profit trust created by a group of people with a dream of making this world a better place to live.
Our mission is to build capacities of individuals and groups deprived of resources required for leading empowered lives. Samruddhi Foundation functions as a centre for knowledge building, training and dissemination of information on issues of equity, social justice, and sustainable development with stakeholders such as communities, civil society/advocacy groups and policy makers.
BE AN INTERN WITH SAMRUDDHI
Samruddhi Foundation provides a forum for people interested in social development issues to discuss and share their knowledge and concerns. Our Internship Programme provides an opportunity to students and researchers for interacting with experts and obtaining hands-on experience of India’s multi faceted social canvas.
Samruddhi offers internship placement for students and researchers to work in such areas as gender, indigenous communities, decentralized governance, special education, health care and labour rights.
Depending on their area/s of interest student interns will be placed in appropriate institutions with which Samruddhi has a network.
Short-term internships with select senior performing artistes can also be arranged on request.
LOGISTICS
Samruddhi will make logistic arrangements for stay, interacting with experts and for obtaining institutional affiliation during the period of internship. Interns will have to produce Bonafide Certificates from the heads of their respective institutions testifying their institutional affiliation. Interns are also responsible for procuring their travel related documents (wherever applicable). All travel and hospitality related expenses are to borne by the interns. Applications received will go through a review process, which might take 3-4 weeks.
