Three-day State Level Workshop on “Research Writing in Social Sciences” in collaboration with Syagale Shivarudramma Charitable Social and Educational Trust and Centre for Research in Rural and Tribal Studies, Mysore from June10-12, 2022.

Eleven-Day Workshop for "Research Students in Social Science Disciplines in Kannada"in collaboration with the Department of Studies and Research in Sociology, Kuvempu University, Shivamogga-July 1-11, 2021 in the Virtual Mode.

Seven Day Workshop for "Research Guides in Social Science Disciplines in Kannada" with the Centre for Women’s Studies, Bangalore University, Bangalore-May 15-June 5, 2021 in the Virtual Mode.

Dr.R.Indira and Dr.Shanthi G conducted a Gender Sensitization Programme on March 2 & 3, 2020 for staff of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Kalpakkam on the invitation of the BARC Facilities.

Samruddhi collaborated with the Alumni Association of the Department of Sociology, University of Mysore and the Centre for Research in Rural and Tribal Development, Mysore in the organization of a Workshop on Ethical Issues in Social Science Researchat Mysore on January 05, 2020.

Samruddhi in association with the Department of Social Work, Pooja Bhagawat Memorial Mahajana PG Centre organized a three day workshop on Building Safe Educational Campuses from October 26-28, 2017. Resource persons included teachers, activists and practicing lawyers, students and teachers from different parts of the state participated in the event, which was mainly conducted through an interactive mode.

Samruddhi in association with Karnataka State Women’s Commission and ‘Achala’ Quarterly, organised a 5 Day Workshop on Techniques and Skills Involved in Addressing Issues of Gender in Teaching and Research from May 12-16,2016, for faculty and research scholars of social science disciplines and coordinators of Centers for Women’s Studies of Universities and Colleges. Teachers and researchers from Karnataka, Telangana and Maharashtra participated in the workshop.

Samruddhi organised awareness building workshops on Sexual Harassment At Workplace (Prevention, Protection And Redressal) Act 2013 for :

• Faculty, students, research scholars and administrative staff of Kuvempu University, Shankaraghatta, Shivamogga district on February 21 & 22, 2017 (Dr.R.Indira, Dr. G. Shanthi and Dr. Swarnamala Sirsi, Professor of Physics , Yuvaraja’s College, University of Mysore conducted the workshop).
• Faculty and students of Sahyadri Arts and Commerce College, Shivamogga on February 22, 2017 (Dr.R.Indira and Dr. G. Shanthi conducted the programme).
• Staff of Larson and Tubro, Mysoreon September 02, 2015 (Dr.R.Indira and Dr. G. Shanthi conducted the programme).
• Academic and administrative staff of National Institute of Engineering, Mysuru on April 5,7,10,15,16,22, 2015 (Dr.R.Indira and Dr. G. Shanthi conducted the programme).
• Teachers and students of JSS Polytechnic, Nanjanagudu on March 18, 2015 (Dr.R.Indira and Dr. G. Shanthi conducted the programme).
• Staff and students Teressian College, Mysuru on March 13, 2015 (Dr.R.Indira and Dr. G. Shanthi conducted the programme).
• Samruddhi is collaborating with Public Health Research Institute India, Mysuru and Florida International University in hosting a Study India Programme on ‘Global Health Issues - A Research Focused Experience in Mysore, India’ since 2017. Hitherto, two batches of students from FIU have visited India under the aegis of this programme.
• Samruddhi gifted audio- visual equipment, water filters and cutlery to three government schools at Mullur village, H.D.Kote taluk and Government Higher Primary School, KythamaranaHalli, Mysore and Government Higher Primary School, Kembal, Nanjanagudu taluk. This was made possible through a munificent grant made by Prof. BelwadySrinivasa Murthy of California, USA. The grant also has made it possible for us to pay for school accessories and admission fee for one child every year.

• S.K. Lakshminarayana (Babu) was conferred the Vishesha Kala Poshaka award by Vishesha Fine Arts, Bengaluru on the occasion of Vishesha Utsava-2017in recognition of his six decade long services for the promotion of performing arts.
• Conferred the Lalitha Kala Suma award by Sri Rama Lalitha Kala Mandira, Bengaluru.
• Was honoured by Ganabharathi, Mysuru for his contributions to the promotion of art in the city of Mysuru.
